Donald Diamond was a great business partner, mentor and friend to everyone at Diamond Ventures. He went out of his way to know about our families and what our children were up to. He always referred to the company as family. Together with Donald, we always worked hard and built a successful company, centered around very talented people. Donald had a knack for getting the best out of everyone around him. We all learned from Donald. He was a doer in all aspects of life. We watched him immerse himself in business, politics, community service and charitable giving. He encouraged and demanded that we always, “have a seat at the table.” Donald Diamond was very proud of the way the company conducted itself morally and ethically. We are going to miss him, and to quote him, “We had a great run!”
